02er in der Neuzeit

Einige wissen ja, dass ich den Einser für den ersten wirklichen Nachfolger des 02er seit Jahren halte. Nun kam eben die neue Einser Generation und ich war zunächst enttäuscht, weil er einfach wieder noch größer geworden ist, obwohl er trotzdem noch das verkörpert, was mir am Vorgänger so gefiel. Nämlich ein kleines, leichtes, potentes, sportliches Auto.

Nun kommt das neue "1er Coupé" - das laut BMW jetzt wieder 2er heissen wird. Also quasi auch auf dem Papier der neue Nachfolger des 02er. 

Ich freu mich drauf.

Some of you know i thought of the 1-series as the first legitimate heir to the 02 for years. Now that the "new" 1-series came out, i was a bit disappointed by the increased size and weight, but it still is the nimble, agile car i fell in love with in the first 1-series.

Now BMW announced the "new 1-series coupé" as the "new 2-series" - so we now even have a real heir to the 02s. 

I'm looking forward to it.
