02er in der Wisteria Lane

Laut Bildunterschrift solls bei den Desperate Housewifes in der Wisteria Lane einen 02er geben. Die fleissigen Zuseher werden sich jetzt denken "wer fährt da einen 02er", zumindest konnte mir keiner sagen wers ist. Ich denke eher, dass da fürs Touristenprogramm einfach Autos in die Auffahrt gestellt werden, damits hübsch aussieht. Gefällt mir diese Stilsicherheit. Wobei ich denke, dass 02er in Kalifornien momentan so einen Retrotrend verkörpern, der gut ankommt.

Edit: Otis auf dem 2002faq schrub dazu, er würde bei der Produktion arbeiten und das Fahrzeug würde einem Angestellten von Universal gehören. Und falls es wirklich ein Filmfahrzeug wäre, würden die Kennzeichen (fiktive) Eagle State Kennzeichen sein und das BMW-Logo wär unkenntlich gemacht.

The caption says there's a 2002 in Wisteria Lane, though some of the regular viewers of Desperate Housewifes would say, there's nobody driving a 02. At least nobody could tell me.

I think, they just put cars there for the studio tours at Universal for the set not to look too deserted. I like what they did therey. Though i think that especially 02's and old Golfs embody some retrotrend that's hip right now in California.

"This is an easy one! I work on the show. That car belongs to a Universal employee that is assigned to the show as a "backlot foreman". Also, if it was a "picture car" it would have a "Eagle State" license plate as opposed to the California one, and the BMW logo would be "greeked out"."
