Brantz BR2A

Wie schon geschrieben, nehm ich mein Drehzahlsignal für den Retrotrip über den Universalsensor BR2A von Brantz ab.
Der Anbau ging recht fix, einfach einen Halter aus einem Flacheisen gebaut und festgeschraubt. Beim elektrischen Anschluss hatte ich aber zuerst mit dem Problem zu kämpfen, dass nix ging. Das lag hauptsächlich an einem kleinen Missverständnis, das mich braun zu braun und blau zu blau anschließen ließ (wie komm ich da nur drauf, völlig abwegig ;) ). Damit funktionierts jedoch nicht. Es muss blau auf braun, grün auf blau und das braune Kabel vom Tripmaster bleibt unbelegt.
Soviel zum Thema Engländer und Elektrik. Als ob man die Kabelfarben nicht so machen könnte, dass keine Missverständnisse entstehen ;)
Ich muss aber dazusagen, dass mir die Dokumentation auf der Brantz Seite enorm geholfen hat, meinen Fehler zu finden und sie auch sonst top ist.

As i wrote i used the Brantz universal sensor BR2A for the revolutions signal. The installation went quite quick, i only hat to build a mounting bracket and screw that on.
I had a issue however with the electric connection. Due to a misunderstanding on my part, i connected the wires blue to blue and brown to brown (how would i come to that idea). The correct pattern however is blue to brown, green to blue and disregard the brown wire coming from the retrotrip completely.
So much about english and they electrics. As if making the wires colorcoded correctly would hurt so much.
But the Brantz homepage with the manuals and troubleshooting tips helped me a lot to find my mistake, i have to give them thumbs up for that thorough documentation.
